Hello, my name is Safiya and I am fourteen years old.

I have always been looking forward to going to school. Unfortunately, there are people of the same human race that look forward to it too, but cannot. Just because they can’t afford school supplies. Those kids are not different from us. They think and have feelings just like us. Imagine you are living in filthy, makeshift tents without proper food supply and no friends other than the ones you share a tent with. You are living on the outskirts of a small town and have no contact with the outer world. How would you feel? Well, believe it or not, kids all around the world live in conditions like that. If they live their whole life like that, unemployment rates will grow. In order to even earn a little bit of money, those people will start working in factories and dumps. Pollution will increase. Your life will change. Human Rights will not matter anymore… Unless you are willing to change that. Every donation matters, from the smallest penny to (what some people have donated) a thousand dollars. Everyone is donating for the same purpose: to let children ride on the wings of education in order to make  the world a better place. What we do to achieve our goal is to have bake sales and other types of sales. We create innovative ideas to collect donations. Help every child!
